Meet Katrina Hunter: Your Sound Healing Practitioner in Friendswood TX

Katrina Hunter, the sound healing practitioner at Live Being U

Katrina Hunter is the owner of Live Being U and your premier Sound Healing Practitioner in Friendswood, TX!

Katrina is a Registered Nurse who spent more than two decades in healthcare. While she valued patient medical treatment, she often felt traditional health care lacked deeper support for overall well-being. Eventually, she chose to leave her nursing role and dedicate herself to exploring healing practices that integrate the mind, body, and spirit. This led her down a path of energy healing, mindfulness, and holistic wellness.

During her yoga teacher training, Katrina discovered the profound power of sound. She observed how the body naturally settles, the breath slows, and the mind quiets, creating a deep sense of calm and clarity. This experience inspired her to dedicate her work to guiding others through restorative sound experiences that support relaxation, self-awareness, and overall well-being.

An intuitive empath and lifelong learner, Katrina integrates meditation, breathwork, and subtle body awareness into her sessions. She continues to study internationally renowned teachers such as Paul Selig, Dr. Joe Dispenza, and Tom Kenyon.

Her journey has taken her from retreats at the House of Dom Inacio in Brazil to yoga and meditation pilgrimages in the Himalayas of Nepal. These experiences continue to shape her thoughtful and deeply personal approach to healing processes.

Katrina is a proud member of the American Holistic Nurses Association. She is committed to creating a safe, supportive space where individuals can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and cultivate practices that support long-term personal balance.
